Welcome to Berserk, a fast-paced and engaging strategic card game where tactics and clever combinations lead you into intense one-on-one battles, as you strive to ascend to demigod status under the watchful eyes of the Greek gods, who observe your journey through the fantastic world of VulcanVerse. This guide will help you step by step to understand how to start playing. Make yourself comfortable, and enjoy the tutorial.
Berserk is inspired by the adventures of the heroes of VulcanVerse, the role-play book series that gave birth to an entire virtual ecosystem, later expanded by the VulcanVerse game produced by Vulcan Forged and powered by blockchain technology.

Berserk is a collectible card game (CCG), similar to Magic: The Gathering or the Pokémon Trading Card Game. However, Berserk cards exist only in digital form and can be bought and sold with complete transparency thanks to the blockchain, which guarantees security and traceability from the creation of a card to every trade.
The core of the game is simple: each hero has 30 life points, and the first player to reduce the opponent’s life to zero, wins the duel. To deal damage, heroes must summon cards onto the battlefield within 60-second turns. Summoning a card requires lava crystals, which must match its cost. Lava crystals automatically increase by 1 each turn, starting from 1 and reaching a maximum of 10, a value that remains fixed until the end of the match. Players can use creatures, spells or a combination of both.
