• At the bottom, we find our hero, in this case, our chosen Vulcanite. For now, these mythological creatures represent our hero and come with specific abilities. These Vulcanites are the stars of both Berserk and the main VulcanVerse game, where you can admire them in 3D. They are NFTs and can also be bought and sold.

  

In the upcoming expansion, Vulcanites will become actual assistants placed beside the battlefield, whose abilities can be activated at any time during your turn using lava crystals. The hero will instead represent one of the quadrants, with abilities linked to its origin. Their names will continue to draw from mythology and VulcanVerse lore. For now, however, their abilities can be activated only once per match and at no cost. Next to the hero, we have our life points and the button for the hero ability. The opponent’s setup mirrors ours at the top.

• On the right is the lava crystal counter, which increases from 1 to 10 and remains at 10 afterwards.
• Further right is your deck, from which you can always peek at the next card you will draw. Only you can see it. There is no mechanic to check the opponent’s deck, though you can make them discard cards.
• On the left is your graveyard, where all destroyed or discarded cards go, except TOKEN cards, which have no real cost and are created through specific in-game effects. This is important because only cards with an actual lava cost can be resurrected. Token cards cannot return.
